SQL SERVER 2005 Readiness Check
If your organization depends on SQL Server today and you’re running SQL Server 2000 or earlier, you should prepare for SQL Server 2005 and potentially SQL Server 2008. Upgrading will deliver immediate results for existing applications and will allow you to develop and deploy new applications to fully exploit the new capabilities.
Upgrading to SQL Server 2005 requires careful planning and this is where SQL Services can assist. SQL Services have developed a service offering called the SQL Server 2005 Readiness Check that will review your SQL Server 2000 environment, the databases and the applications with the aim of highlighting any issues that need to be addressed before, during and after the upgrade. The SQL Server 2005 Readiness Check process will provide you with a comprehensive report that can be used as the basis for planning the actual upgrade where SQL Services are also able to assist.
