Tailored for companies that require assistance with day-to-day database activities but who still like to be “hands-on” with some management. Silver support offers a comprehensive list of services to support the server however certain tasks are delegated to in-house resource. This service level also offers 20 days Gold Service to cover the in-house DBA if they are on annual or sick leave.
SQL Services take responsibility for the following tasks:
- Daily Monitoring of database activity
- Regular database re-indexing
- Regular database consistency checks
- Restoring production databases
- Database instance configuration changes
- Applying database hot fixes, security alerts, patches and service packs
- Escalation of unresolved alerts and errors
